Would you rather be in jail for five years or be in a coma for a decade? Jail for five. People would love me in jail….oh trust me Oscar, they would love me in jail…

Shameless bump for this. Mostly because I just like answering questions any of you may have about WLCW or me. You guys know I’m approachable and will talk and go over stuff with any of you. Let’s get a few more questions in before Ascension here.

What's something you'd like to see more from folks here? Like in terms of RP styles, ideas, input, story execution etc?
Doesn't have to necessarily be a negative thing or a need to specifically call anyone out. Just a "this would be nice" or "I'd like to see maybe..." things.

I have a lot of questions Number one How dare you? Scott, why are you up here? You work down in the warehouse. It's not a party. Scott, back downstairs. This isn't information you need to hear.

I think, coming out of Ascension, I'm going to kind of release the reigns a bit and let people push their own feuds and storylines...especially in the undercard. It's been easy to just have a title on the line and have the feud revolve around that, but I'd like to see people take initiative in the undercard and work with some people to kind of get something going for their character(s). Not that I mind the autobooking / auto-segment feature, because I don't. It's a way to keep people on the show and hopefully give them some direction. Obviously, I'd love if more people utilized Eruption and the social media, but I think we've got a good foundation and base for it right now. So, yeah, I guess the thing I'd like to see more is just user generated stories / segments / feuds. Which, you know, we're still early on and it's not something I expected out of the gate. But it's something I'm hoping to see going forward a bit. I don't mind having to step in and guide it along a bit though.

Following up on that, would you ever consider like an overall arching "fed plot"? What I mean are things like owner/executive power struggles, "The Four Horsemen" dominating the scene (not the actual ones, there's enough old wrestlers who shouldn't be in a ring in real life and e-feds), etc?
Mostly asking since curious if maybe that sort of "umbrella" might help those who can't figure out initial starter ideas or people to feud with find something to latch on to.

How much does match relevance factor into your decision making?

Nah, not really. No. The fed wide story angle puts too much of an onus on me I think. You guys are the writers, you're the one doing the work and competing. I want to write results and shows that convey that. I actually am not a fan of writing Foley segments myself because I don't like the idea of wasting words and space on a show with the authority figure dictating stuff. Like I said, the story is about you guys and your characters' interactions with one another. While a fed wide angle and story would be fun in some ways, I think it would really force a lot of people into a story or situation they may not enjoy. Yeah, I think that's getting that out there how I want it to.

How much does match relevance factor into your decision making? Not really at all and a lot at the same time. The best way I can explain that is by saying this...if you can find a way to do both, incorporate the match going on or that your character is in within their world and story, that's going to go a really long way in winning matches. And I know that is the hardest thing to do in the world. "oh shit, I'm in a ladder match, how do I tie that in with the stuff I was doing?" Again, not easy...and I'm not here advocating that everyone should just trying to do that because it's not for everyone. Within the realms of efeds, professional wrestling is real...and we write the stories and lives of those people involved with this - seeming - combat sport. I assure you that I have Momo fall off a ladder and hit her shoulder and hurt it badly...and you don't reference that at all in your next RP...I'm gonna be bummed. Maybe not bummed enough to give you the loss, but still bummed. That's the kind of dynamic storytelling I want to do with you guys and the stuff and story I want to weave with you when I get the chance. I also know that some people have storylines and plot for their RPs drawn out and ready to go. That does not bother me in the slightest. If you want to bring someone in and have them have father issues or money issues or whatever...that's fine. Make me feel for that character. Make me care for that character. I probably didn't answer that question at all...sorry if I made it murkier. I can answer more in depth later (at my second job right now haha).
