Okay, first and foremost...thank you all so much for making this show what it was. I said in the AMA, but I just want to reiterate...I never ever would have expected this kind of turnout for the first show. I told those involved early on I was gonna be happy just to get a card booked for the first show. It's been a wild ride to get to this point and it's all because of each of you. I really really loved some of the work that went out this week. Let me touch on a few matches.
The triple threat opener was...man, the night of RP deadline (last night), I kind of thought it'd be a triple no show and then instead you all three brought it. And I just to say I'm sorry for springing this surprise title stipulation on you guys, but it's something I've had in my head since I came up with the shows and belts and what I wanted to do. And it just made sense. And Jaz's RP was so fun and different and honestly, just well written. That match could have gone to any of you three and I wouldn't have been disappointed. Sorry to Fuz and Kyle because your guys' work was really good and it felt real and legit. Match was tough one to call.
Storm vs Lesnar was another one that was just back and forth at points...with me going back over the RPs a few times. Matt Striker had a busy ten day span, including getting up to visit Lesnar in the great north. The ending to that match was different about 24 hours ago and again, I went back and forth on it. Two really good RPs where neither deserved to lose.
Then the main event where all four fucking people brought it at a high level. Probably the toughest match on the card to call one way or the other. I got to the ending with a bit of disappointed look on my face...not because I didn't believe in what I was deciding, but because I knew there were going to be two people really let down by it. And that's what makes this all so hard sometimes. Yet, winners had to be decided and I felt like Hart and Momo's stuff was really well done. With the Momo RP being one of my favorite of the week.
Kudos to everyone and hopefully we can build off this and make the battle royale and qualifying matches on Storm next week a huge one.
Appreciate each and every one of you guys.

As far as the show goes, where I think e-feds that I've been involved with fall short in the show writing is the subtle details... The flow of the show, the action writing of matches and of course being able to capture the spirit of the organization and tone of the show through the commentary. This show checked all the boxes for me. If I didn't know better, it would tough to tell that this was a brand new e-fed organization. Truly a testament to all the hard work and writing chops Craig put into this to get it off the ground, and the stable of individuals writing here.
Really wanted to shout out Josh, in particular, whose RP's I really enjoyed this week. I also cannot forget about my OG's Fuz, Kyle and Cleve... some of my favorite writers (and people) continuing to do great work. Overall, this is going to be a really competitive group and don't envy Craig's future decision-making duties. Haha.
That said, what an absolute honor to have Braun Strowman hold WLCW's first belt. I've been writing a ton over the last year or so, but haven't participated in e-fedding in a very long time. I wasn't confident that it was going to translate into this medium, but I was really happy with my work. Glad the powers that be enjoyed it too... Looking forward to my first defense.
Great work Craig and to all involved! LFG!!!

First, congrats to Jaz on winning the X Division title. What a way to kick off the first show!
Very nice job with the results, Craig. There was such a good flow, especially for a first show. It's not easy to write initial RPs in a new fed, but don't short change yourself. Putting out a quality set of results like this says a lot about you and the faith everyone should have in WLCW moving forward.
I believe there was a 21/22 turnout as far as RPs. Fucking awesome.

Congrats on a fantastic first show! I was so entertained and I'm so excited for the future here in WLCW. Misao was portrayed just exactly how I'd imagine her heel self being; you have no idea how much I appreciate little touches like that. And I feel like I've got more direction for Hikari thanks to the fucking amazing main event. Loving everyone's work and looking forward to next show!

Good afternoon, everyone.
I finally had some time to sit down and give the results a thorough read. I'm going to do my best to speak on each segment, while not commenting on the quality of anything I personally contributed.
First, just want to throw out there that I thought the show was aesthetically pleasing from top to bottom and that it was an overall very strong effort for a first show. It was cool to see a significant number of segments submitted by different handlers and it's always good to see so many folks sign up for the booking thread. Another thing I think is notable is that all but one RP was posted for the event. It says a lot about the guys who make up the roster as well as the faith they have in the guy running the show that all but one RP went up before the deadline. 99.9% completion is hell of a target to hit the first time out and I'm proud that I could be part of that.
- The opening promo with Mick Foley was well-written and in-character. Also, very exciting to see a new champion crowned in the very first match. Not only is it plausible to give us some stakes right out the gate, but it gives the entire show an "anything can happen" vibe. As I'm sure some folks on the roster know, I'm a fan of concepts like this belt. Aside from being a strong secondary title to vie for, a belt with a stipulation like this can provide much needed shake-ups. I'm also intrigued by the idea of the title jumping divisions upon a full rotation. That title history is going to look ridiculous and I can't wait to see it. On that note, congratulations to Chef Strowman on becoming the X-Division Champion. I wasn't sure what to think when I saw the application but you delivered in your RP and now you've got the gold to show for it. I can't wait to see what you do next.
- Ominous segment between Misao and Hikari Noa. Zelda is a talented writer who really knows how to get over the little things with her characters, in their mannerisms and the things they don't say out loud. I know we've got some things coming down involving our characters, but I'm interested to see where she's going with her own here.
- Cleve definitely has the voice of Honky Tonk Man down. I'm not a fan of 2.0 AT ALL in real life, so hopefully Brett can give me something to like with these guys, haha. A potential alliance between Honky and 2.0 seems odd but also... oddly fitting? I'm curious to see how this relationship develops on future events.
- The women's three way was almost too close to call. I will say that Yolo and Wasabi both put their best foot forward here, showing they're definitely here to play. Roc was Roc and that's all you can really ask for. Big win for Wasabi heading into the qualifier matches but don't count Yolo out yet. There was a fire in that Kimber Lee RP that I've not seen from him in quite some time, so I'm expecting some big things for him in the future.
- Great characterization of MJF here, and I really liked the back and forth with Wardlow. I also feel like Foley was handled really well in this segment (I'm assuming Jeff fashioned Foley's dialogue as well, correct me if I'm misplacing my praise). Shame on MJF for not trying the mini-grilled cheeses.
- Good win for Nash here. Sends him into the battle royal with some momentum. Really wish we could've seen Cleve and Jeff go at it full blast here, but maybe in the future? MJF/Nash would actually probably be pretty killer on the mic if nothing else.
- This is a very strange take on R-Truth but don't get me wrong, it's not BAD. It's just R-Truth with his crazy turned up to 11. It's so out of left field with the Bischoff connection that I'm genuinely curious where Jay is going to take this. Having seen some of his work in the past, he's got a flair for unusual comedy so I'm keeping my eye on him.
- Congratulations to Misao!
- Good job to Vinny on the Malakai Black promo. It sounded like him, it felt like him, and I can't wait to see you break loose with an actual RP with him. Having only seen you as a certain character for so long in another place, it's almost kind of jarring to see you play someone different, let alone SO different. Good work!
- Another tough loss for The Lee Family, which is such a bizarre and fun gimmick. With tag champions soon to be crowned, I'm sure they'll be back in the running and maybe they'll meet 2.0 again along the way.
- The Wingmen produced one of the best RPs of the cycle, I think. I'm a big fan of just about everything Wasabi does, so I know he'll be back for more with Corbin and Moss, The Wingmen just edged him out this time.
- Man, Roc produced some true fried gold this cycle but you just can't help but acknowledge the head of the table here. Big, big win for Roman but the real star is John Cena breaking out a full-on Roc-style rap before getting his head knocked off.
- I'm really excited to see Kyle's take on HOOK. I've really only ever seen him RP in one other place but he gave me a hell of a match with a character I really didn't see it coming from. If he's got a handle on HOOK, he could realistically end up in the title match and it'd be really cool to see.
- Really huge win for Dustin here, and a match that was written which more than meets the effort put into the RPs. Really good back and forth action. Both guys really brought it and I'm proud of Dustin for pulling it out. He's another definite potential contender for the title match. God, imagine, what if we end up with Brock vs. HOOK?
- It was really cool to main event the first show, as that wasn't known to any of us until the results went up. It was the first time Dustin and myself had ever teamed up in 20+ years of e-fedding together. Anthony and Zelda fought hard and the match honestly could have gone either way. Anyone could tell you that I had already resigned myself to the loss, as I DMed Craig right after results went up with "WTF we won?" Either way, it was nice to main event the first show with three of my friends just lobbing bombs at each other and seeing who gets left standing. I already know I haven't seen the last of Anthony and Zelda (I know because we're writing the angles!) so I'm sure the piper will be paid sooner than later, haha.
All in all, a loaded show with something for everyone. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for Storm. Let's keep working together and making this the place to be.
