The full moon shines a light above a graveyard where two mysterious figures meet. Two entities who in no other circumstance would never cross each other’s path, but this situation. This mysterious entity drew them to this place.
The Mausoleum of the Undead Bride. An imposing stone room with the front decorated to look like a wedding altar. It was sealed shut by bricks. Having gotten it’s name from a living woman trapped inside for the rest of her days. She swore that her spirit would have revenge.
That’s where these two entered the story, Susie and Susan. Beckoned by the call. Any words they could’ve spoken were taken out of their mouths by the oppressive fog surrounding them. Placing a heavy weight on their chests, but still they walked forward toward the monolith of stone that housed the angry spirit. Both of them reached out and upon the lightest of touch, the stone that sealed away the Undead Bride crumbled away as if it was just mere dust. Revealing…
Nothing but an empty room. The weight and aura seemed to have lifted and with a deep breath Susan sighed.
“Nothing but pure superstition. I cannot believe we spent more time on this than was necessary. I do not care about what you wish to do, but I am going to talk to the grave keeper about this blatantly unsafe facility in the morning.” She pushed up her glasses and began walking away. Susie meanwhile looked deeper inside before looking away, her hand still on the doorway.
Right before she left a hand grabbed onto her wrist and she let out a scream only for a second to grab onto her mouth. She was met by the foul stench of blood and decay as the owner of the hands went around to meet her face to face. A wild eyed creature, Su Yung.
“Wonderful… you did exactly as you were destined to do… Bring the end to this world and so many others.” She grinned as she saw the fear in Susie’s eyes.
“Look at you, so weak and terrified like all the others, but the difference is. I can bring you power. I can bring you vengeance to all of those that stand in your way. You no longer have to fear. You can be the one who is feared… all you have to do is follow my instructions and my commands.” Su Yung taunted and noted a hesitancy in Susie’s eyes
“Ah, the curiosity of refusal has crossed your mind. Well.” Her face turned demonic “You may take my place in the grave then if you find that refusal is more preferable.”
Susie gulped and shook her head whining, the pressure getting to her. A seal of the undead bride appeared on her shoulder.
“You chose very wisely.” The undead bride said, her voice blunt and meticulous. “Now, after we found the other person who aided you. We can start on a grand mission to cause pain and suffering to the world. Strip every last bit of pleasure from what they found until even just the simplest of needs are havens. And you are to lead me to my first battle.”
