Just wanted to give Craig one last thanks for a fun fed and the work he put into it. I'm sure the last show didn't come out exactly as he hoped but he did rather well with what he had.
Congrats to Zelda on her title victory!
The Suckate was just... beautiful *gets emotional* Even used to josh throwing huge curveballs, I didn't see that coming. That was a fun saga and I truly enjoyed making Eruption like our own zany playground.
Congrats to Scott for proving to himself what we all knew, that he easily still has it, and he goes out the first and only WLCW Champion which is fitting for how great his Cody character was.
If this was a last hurrah for me in real feds, it was a nice way to go. I got to have some fun with the Gaijin at last, the Britt experiment didn't go so well in my opinion, but hey, I tried and that's better than not trying.
Take care all!

Thank you Craig for giving us a place to write. There’s next to nothing that someone could complain about with WLCW so it’s a shame it went out like this. Nothing to hang your head on, though. This fed was a success and proved it could be done by one (insane) person in today’s world. I wouldn’t be surprised to see WLCW go around round down the line when timing is better. That’s the thing about these feds - timing.
Josh, Anthony, Dustin, Roc, and Zelda gave us a great women’s division.
Dave burned himself out carrying the tag team division.
Could always count on Neelan, Matt G, Roc, and Dustin in the men’s division.
Vinny was not fun to work with, but the outcome wouldn’t have been different had he bothered to show. Had I known he wouldn’t, it’d been Black’s head I’d put through that car windshield and not Warhorse’s. I had to do the entire feud myself with very little input from him, which also burned me out in the end before Craig announced the end of WLCW.
Pylum, Brett, and Geoff were always there to post too.
At least we all didn’t get too sad that Scott Hall died and no showed, right? That would’ve been embarrassing.
Anyway, it was my honor to be the World Champion and it was the longest world title reign of my 20 year “career.” Guess it’s technically still ongoing, so keep those days going.
I will meet my new challenges head-on, and I will succeed, and I will laugh in the faces of those who doubt me. It's been a pleasure working with some of you, and I will not forget those of you soon. But remember, while today it is WLCW, we all shall fall.

Thank you to Craig for giving me a shot when you had no reason to trust me.
I've been back in e-feds since June 2019 and my goal since that day was to win a women's title. Those weren't really a thing back in the early 2000s unless you joined one of the hyper-toxic all-girl feds where they posted 10k RPs and their name plates looked like ***(((%%$$$$'THE VIRGIN QUEEN' MOLLY HOLLY$$$$%%)))***, and I just wasn't about that life. Anyway, WLCW helped me achieve my goal. I'm proud to have been the first champion with one of my favorite wrestlers. Congratulations to Zelda on sending Momo out on her back.
It was fun working with Dustin, Anthony, and Zelda, even if it did seem like we were gonna be destined to do it forever as the only active competitors in the women's division.
I don't know where this leaves me in terms of real wrestler feds. Maybe it's the end, maybe it isn't. I said never again in 2006, and again in 2020. The main thing I've learned is never say never. End of the day, this may not be the end for me, but it's definitely the end for a while.
I said most of the sappy stuff in the OOC for Momo's RP, so there's not much left for here.
That being said, I'll just say that this was fun. It deserved better than it got, and I hope the ones who didn't appreciate it remember that when they complain about the state of real wrestler feds going forward. This was a good one with potential to be great if more people cared. But you know what? I'll take a fun what-if with potential that died too soon over most of the other options out there. At least it felt like what I did here mattered instead of just pushing material through a meat grinder.
Once again, thank you, and I'll see you all on the other side.

I tried to go above and beyond with my feedback in WLCW for every show, because I know how much it means after seeing it from both sides.
Honestly a good turnout all things considered. I was glad to see everyone tried to end their stories the best they could, considering the circumstances. I think it really brought out some different emotions. You could tell in some of the roleplays I read, my own included.
Very happy for Zelda. She was very dedicated to WLCW and was one of the best writers we had. Her getting a taste of gold in the final show seems fitting to me. I'm sure Josh feels that way, too. We would of probably saw plenty of rematches between these two (or subbing in Anthony as well) for the title. Those three made the Women's division something. The story was strong and looked like it was going to be able to sustain too.
I had confidence that Scott was going to retain regardless of the situation. I was a little surprised when he joined WLCW to be honest, but definitely not surprised with any of his accomplishments during the feds run. I've known Scott for twenty three years and I've never seen him ever half-ass anything. His dedication to WLCW was second to none.
The Cardona/Rhodes match was a nice way to finish things off. We were headed towards that match anyways. Cody surviving and being the lone world champion in WLCW was cool.
Those Roc segments will never get old. Big ol' pictures! Fuck resizing and what not, just roll with it.
Congrats to Geoff on a big time win. Going out as the tag team champions is pretty cool. Good job. Dave hit the 'wall' with the Wingmen. But man, he carried the tag team division in the beginning. It would not of even lasted the entire run if it wasn't for him.
Anthony's vision for Jamie/Bea was started to take shape. I think it was going to be one of the real bright spots for the fed as it headed towards the third PPV. When Anthony is on his game, he can hang with anyone. I'm pretty sure Jamie was going to be challenging for the Women's title.
The Brock/Batista segment was great stuff. I know Josh would have sent me the segment and I could have adjusted Brock's portions. But, I didn't need to do that. I knew it was going to be perfect.
Completely threw me off with the Booker T/Drake segment and what transpired. I liked it, though.
All in all, I think it was a really good show. All things considered, I think WLCW was able to go out on a high note. That's rare in the e-fed world. We have Craig to thank for that. Thank you, Craig. It was fun.

I've had feds close on me before, but I can't say I've ever gone into a final show actually knowing it was the final show, so this is still a little surreal for me. And to be honest and say that I'd been working on some big plans behind the scenes pretty much since the day I signed up feels a little wrong somehow, but it's the truth. I said it before, over in the other thread, that I've been burnt out on fedding for some time and every attempt to return had fizzled out pretty quickly (for which I still likely owe a few apologies I'll never get to make). Something about this place and lucking into the right character idea finally brought something back for me that hadn't been there since I first joined a certain fed where I met most of the people I know here in WLCW almost a decade ago.
Major kudos to our final champions. mattg was a blast to RP against, and I was looking forward to the eventual program once I built back up to that point. The women's division was the envy of every fed I've ever been in, hands down, and congrats to Zelda for going out on top. The tag division was about to heat up, with Geoff taking the titles and a little something something that was soon for the title hunt. And Scott, whose praise for me I very much appreciated even if I never acknowledged it, carrying the torch as the first, last, and only World champ. Man, if the real Cody Rhodes had leaned into his character as much as you did, he would've been the top guy in AEW rather than about to be an afterthought in WWE. That run was brilliant, and it somehow fit the end of the company to see you make two defenses in one night and still come out on top.
As for my last opponent, Brett, it seems like we're fated to never really get anything going between us, and I'll never understand why. But it is what it is, I guess. At least this time it wasn't because one of us (pretty much always me) disappeared off the face of the Earth. Here's to the next one.
And Craig, man, thank you again for everything. For creating this place, this perfect little moment in time, for letting us tell our stories and guiding us where you wanted us to go. The quality of the work you put in really showed, and hopefully sometime down the line there'll be another chance, another go-round for this place. And hopefully I'll catch most, if not all, of you guys there, if not somewhere else in the time between. Because I'm not going anywhere, I'm just moving on to another temporary home until this one reopens.

Craig and I have existed in different orbits in the world of eFedding and when he messaged me about taking a look at this place I was a bit surprised to say the least. I was not surprised that he had built a fantastic looking site and the roster was rock solid. What I was surprised about was that he reached out to me about the WLCW. Once I saw the names of the folks that I recognized there was a sudden potential to work with people that I may have encountered only briefly. It has been a real treat to be on the same roster as each and every one of you.
This week was pretty heavy in regards to the emotion that was put into the role plays. All of us knew what was about to happen but some of the role plays I read this week all said something about yourselves in a way I had not seen before. I wish to extend my respect to each of you that put yourselves out there and stuck this experience out. In my brief time in the WLCW I learned a great deal and to have the honor in facing Dave in the final tag title match is something I will keep in my memory for a long time to come.
Craig is a passionate individual that puts everything into something that he believes in. Thank you very much for your time, energy, and dedication to WLCW. Thank you all once again for a very fun ride and I hope to work with you down the road while the fire still burns.
-Geoff

I have to start by saying first and foremost, thank you Craig for this wonderful place. It's been only a short time, but this was a fantastic place that had so much going for it. I truly treasure the time I've spent here and getting to know some of the people here. You worked so hard on this place and I greatly appreciate you. Thank you for everything you've done.
It was a very melancholy experience writing what I knew was going to be the final Hikari Noa RP. When I started here I thought she might be a fun character to explore within the world of WLCW. I knew little about her other than her penchant for death matches. I also came here with extreme self doubt and frustration with my writing and efedding as well. Other than a short run with Mayu Iwatani on another fed, I have an atrocious track record with finding real wrestlers I can write well and consistently. Hikari grew on me a lot, both as a character and as a wrestler who I've grown to be a big fan of. Knowing I was facing one of the best writers I've ever come across in fed circles, writing one of his favorite wrestlers, I was so sure that the best I could do was to give him a tough match. It was a joy to work this program with Josh and Anthony, which has been something I've wanted to do since first meeting them. To have won the title on the farewell show is something I still can't quite believe happened.
Josh, Anthony and Dustin - thank you so much for bringing life to the women's division and making it an enjoyable time. You're all wonderful.
Congrats to Scott for running the gauntlet and walking out on top. Your stuff has been phenomenal.
And to everyone who showed more or less consistently: Thank you for your hard work as well.
It's been a hell of a road, and I'm glad to have been part of this all.

I've waited to post my goodbye. I really, truly, genuinely didn't want to bask in any compliments or kind words you all had for me and this place. I do genuinely appreciate all of you. There's some personal stuff I want to get out of the way real quick. First of all, Anthony. You and I never really interacted much as I didn't have to really jump in and be a major part or decision maker in the women's division. I just want you to know, your work has been stellar and you deserved more than you ultimately got in WLCW. I know that some plans were changed and derailed a bit, but you rolled with it and committed to staying in the mix and being a part of the shows in other ways - while staying adjacent to the women's division. Again, you deserved more and better than you got and in time...you most definitely would have gotten those things. I'm sorry it never got to that point. I wish it would have. Then there's dustin. You and I did have some conversations over discord and much like Anthony, there was so much more you were going to be a part of and big plans that we weren't able to see to the end. I apologize for that, especially after forcing you down that route and maybe changing some plans you may have made getting to that point. The stuff we had planned to do with Pillman and Griff was really going to be fun, different and unique take on them that I think a lot of people would have really liked. We would have zigged instead of zagging like people would expect and it would have been great. Sadly...again, like with Anthony, we didn't quite make it there. And I'm sorry for that. EWA alum like myself that includes brady neelan geoff and a good few others, thank you for coming on this journey with me and trying something different - even if it was quickly fleeting. You guys trusted in me and gave me your time, effort and words and I appreciate each of you for it. It was great to see you guys in a completely different environment and seeing you guys match up against other talented writers you all hadn't seen before. My goal in this place was to help light a fire for you EWA people that you may not have had in awhile and I hope I was able to help do that. You're all so talented and I love your guys' work and how unique it all is from one another. Scott, we've certainly had a fair share of ups and downs. Things happened so quickly this go around. The conversation one night was "I'm done with efeds forever" and the next morning, the Cody Rhodes app was on the board lol. Your stuff was really good right from the get go and you just kept honing the character and make it better and better until we got what we had here at the end. Your work with dialogue and character relationships within Cody's group is what set the table for the RPs quality and you were always able to bring it home at the end with the home run lines and statements. No one was more deserving of the world title win and defend it like you did. Proud and happy to have called you my champion in the time this place was open. josh - you might downplay it or maybe you really play it up behind the scenes, I don't know lol, but you're the reason this place existed in the first place. Our conversations about writing, efeds and characters in early December set the stage and then the more we talked about what we liked, disliked and what worked and what didn't laid the foundation for this place. You were my confidant and someone I knew I could talk to about stuff. After NWA, I never would have imagined to have had any kind of relationship with you, Scott or any of the people there from when that ended...but I've been more than happy to see our friendship grow and the conversations we've had progress from there. You helped make this place the success it was with your social media posts, your push on Eruption participation and all the work you put into the women's division. Thank you for everything you've done here. I know I've told you privately how much I appreciate you, but you deserve to see and hear it publicly too...thank you. For everything. I don't claim or think I'm the best writer in the world. I sometimes don't even think I'm serviceable...I struggled with some decisions here in matches and made what I believed to be the right choice. We hit the ground running in early January and had a ton of guys participating and a lot of momentum...as more people fell off, it was tough to maintain that momentum. Those people who put the work in to make this place stay active, alive and keep it's flow...thank you. I regret nothing about the time here. WLCW was a good place. Thanks for helping me make it what it was.

I returned to the board in hopes Craig re-opened the fed… and I find this?!? What exactly is this. Lol. Enlighten me. Who is Mickey Darling and Shane Dawson? And why do they sound like a great Indy team from ‘00?

Thank you Craig for everything you've done for me over the past decade. You gave a dumb kid opportunity after opportunity and I am forever thankful for that. You're someone I look up to as a mentor beyond efedding and also a friend.
Thanks for all your efforts in WLCW and previous feds. Jazz suck ❤
