Hey Guys, How is everyone doing? Alot of you may or may not know me from previous feds, if you do sorry but you can't get rid of me that easy. If you haven't had the unfortunate time to meet me, my names Rick. I usually play Christopher Daniels, but there was a fed many many years ago that I promised after it closed to not use him again, I mean 10 years playing the same guy doesn't leave alot of a room for creativity. It took me a while to decide on Priest and I just wanted to know what everyone thought of my take on him, granted...and I know this, it sounds FUCK ALL like him, and I will try and get closer to his mannerisms as time goes on...maybe. But for my first post of him, id like to know if there is anything I could have done or shouldn't have done (besides the obvious and not use him) wlcw.boards.net/thread/357/welcome-new-ageI look forward to working with you all, everything I have seen so far has been totally off the chain.

Okay, now that our match is over, I can comment finally.
I kid, I kid, but seriously, I think your post kinda got lost in the shuffle somehow. Your debut looked good enough to me, for the most part, outside of a few minor formatting nitpicks. I think the biggest issue is just finding your voice for the character. You don't necessarily have to write like how he acts or sounds IRL, you just have to find a consistent gimmick/character for him. You kinda came across as if you weren't sure what you wanted him to be, and you ended up having to rely on events that happened before and outside of WLCW history rather than getting to tell your own story.
I don't think there's any feedback in the world I could give you that would help, honestly, besides just working with the character, playing around with him in your head and figuring out what you want to do with him and where you want to take him.
