So, I just deleted about 800 words on no shows and how they really annoy me and piss me off and how they fuck up stories and plans I have...but then I thought, why focus on the negative so much? Let's talk about some positives coming out of this one. Women's division is really really good right now, even in limited quantities. There's a few people doing a lot of hard work there and it hasn't gone unnoticed. Looking forward to adding KANA to that mix and seeing her stir it up with the rest of them. Pumped to get that women's title match announced and I think it easily (again) has a chance to be the match of the night on the card once it's all said and done. Credit to brady and mattg for their efforts this week. Matt has had quite a time since joining WLCW. He's put in the time and effort and it's paid off for him with quality work and fun stories. Brady is a guy I've known for quite awhile and to say his character choices sometimes are a bit out there would be accurate...but he seems to have a good groundwork laid for Booker. I loved the dynamic between he and Road Dogg and think that has a chance to be a good mix going forward. Really thought for an opening RP, his stuff was solid. Content was a bit out there and I'm not totally sold on putting "The Wrestler Known as Brady Booker" on everything yet, but I may wind up getting there. Another solid outing from dustin and he gets a good win in that mixed tag match. I fucking love the stuff Scott is doing right now with Brandi and the Nightmare Family as a whole, but Dustin's stuff with the Blondes and more so, Griff is starting to percolate a bit and turn in the right direction. There's some real depth to add to that story and if he puts in the effort, Griff can really develop and grow as a character here and do some good stuff. Looking forward to seeing where he winds up taking it (no pressure, just do whatever you had planned before lol). Quick hits: Good intro segments from William Great win and good stuff from geoff - Really sets up MCMG nicely Another solid win for the Wingmen. Good development of Drake's character and role within the group with that RP John Cena is starting to put together a nice little win/loss record Loved loved loved the Clarence Mason / 2.0 twist that Brett put together. You guys know I'm a sucker for that kind of fun stuff I'm not going to lie...a little bummed out by some of the no shows and absences from the fed as a whole over the last few weeks. We built a ton of momentum early on and this place was killing it the first few shows...I feel like we've lost a bit of that and I hope we're able to get some of it back and keep going with some of the great writers and storytellers we have here. Again, don't want to focus on the negative...and the people who I hope would see this message will not because they likely won't be back and don't read this stuff anyway...But I am excited about the new blood we've had come in and I want to get them in the mix immediately. That being said, Storm is not booked yet. I spent my last minutes last night putting the show together to post it this morning and have work all day and all night...so I'm gonna try and get the Storm card out by - AT LEAST - tonight, if not tomorrow morning. Apologies of the tardiness of it. HERE IS THE BOOKING CARD FOR THE NEXT SHOW. IF YOU'RE NOT BOOKED AND WANT TO BE, PLEASE RESPOND IN THAT THREAD.

I did real-time reaction/note taking so here we go:
- If Cody Rhodes was like this in real life? I'd be a HUGE fan instead of sorta fan/neutral. Seriously, can Scott become Cody's promo writer for real? - Even if I wasn't still suffering lingering COVID and shortness of breath, I'd have been out of breath laughing so hard at that Booker/Drake segment. Just glorious. I won't take any credit for that. 100% Josh's mad genius. - Miro being Miro and destroying people. I'm down with that. - Hikari vs Momo at the PPV for the title. Should be a great match. Good luck to both! - Also so happy I can toy around with Top Gaijin some. Expect many bleeps in the future! - The PROTAGONIST is the sleeper of the women's division. Just racking up them wins. - Clarence Mason... forgot he was a thing. And Keith Lee in 2.0. I'm curious where that will go. - Miro night of rampaging continues, Mick kicking him out, definitely can't wait to see how Miro responds on Storm. Loving it so far. Monsters should be monsters. - ACT and Kagetsu teaser, with how Grand Princess does great world building and character interactions, this should be a good time. - And more of said world building and character interactions from GP's girls, plus Kana appearance! - Had a feeling I'd lose that Britt match, congrats to GP! At least the ending saved Britt's rep and gives me time to try and figure her out. So appreciate that for sure. - Roman vs Miro. Two strong dominant personalities, that should be a fun time. I'm sure WWE would love that for real if they had actually built Miro right. - Loving Cardona. Can't wait to see how fast he rises. Looks like a clear Cody/Cardona clash at some point later in the year. - Top Gaijin doing Top Gaijin things *thumbs up* Also love Jamie blowing off her former Oedo Tai leader. - Miss Nightmare 2022 has a special announcement on Storm? I'm there for that. Will we *gasp* get angry black woman Brandi? Scott, please make this happen. You know how much I love it (and am going to miss it now). - Schoolboy/girl rollup of doom. Most devastating move in pro wrestling! - Cardona/Punk/Devitt? That should be a fun set of RPs, match variations and general feud - I wasn't sure from the start what to make of Shinsuke/Kana/Danhausen... but I'm curious to see where this goes for sure. - Love the main event and gives X-Division a big boost in direction/energy
Overall a fun show and a good start on the path toward Clash at the Canyon. I'm still personally not a fan of the next card not being ready with the results. Since it leaves us less time to concept up an RP idea and write, and people should know by now to sign up. That said, I also highly respect Craig's one guy doing this solo so it's a minor quibble.
Like Craig said, there was a lot of great momentum early and even I admit I didn't have much in me for this show, so let's all try to up our games again going forward! Let's make Storm a big effort!

So, starting off, I'll say this was the first time I was invested in reading something and didn't notice the post break with 2 separate posts. So that is a major plus for Craig 's ability to place together, and ultimately write, the results! I am not going to lie, typically I write a lot with these and breakdown everything I think about every segment and RP. However, when I got about halfway (right after the MCMG match) - I realized it was just a major congratulations or paragraph about how I liked every segment and why. So, to summarize, I really liked the results as a whole and everyone has been a lot of fun to read about in their RPs and Social Media posts (which says how engaging they are as characters and total acts). Fantastic work all around! The most unique thing I've noticed while being here is that everyone is creating their own mystique and separation from the rest of the roster. It is really cool to see people striking out for different roles and in very separate ways even when there are commonalities. It's a lot of fun to read and honestly the Social Media threads help so much with boosting every segment as it helps catch up quickly on the character's thoughts especially for someone new. Now, on the negative note, the No Shows really suck for any Fed. However, everyone here who is active, is more than good enough to carry a fantastic card as is from what I have seen. I don't mean to downplay anyone's reasons or situations, but this is ultimately a compliment to the people I have seen write thus far. I'll speak for myself and Kristin (as she is visiting her parents at the moment), but we both are very excited to get started with you all!

Totally forgot to shout him out this morning. Tough set of losses last few matches for neelan and that’s where I the no show stuff gets frustrating. Because Neelan doesn’t deserve to lose those last two matches. He’s putting in big time effort and doing some good stuff with Devitt. His record in the last few matches is not indicative to his writing and what he’s been doing. Just a tough set of matches for him that really - either one of them - could have gone either way. I know hearing that from the person making the decisions is not fun though because I already remember how I felt when newt would tell me that stuff. But I do feel it needs to be said and Neelan needs to be appreciated. Because his work has been solid. I hope the last few tough matches don’t deter him. This shit is so hard sometimes, deciding these matches. And I know you guys all wonder sometimes “what if Craig doesn’t like this?” Because ultimately I know it’s me making the call…and 1500 words and super quality writers here make it tough. I hate it sometimes. I hate that I put myself in that position for Punk vs Devitt. That being said…these tough decisions are what I want here. As hard as it is to call sometimes, I want to see good writing and good competition. Iron sharpens iron and all that, right? I love having competitive matches here. I hope that trend continues because I think it’s what makes it special here. Just wanted to say that because I meant to call out Neelan in my first post - and it was a part of the big no show rant that got deleted and I forgot to put him back in with what I wanted to say.

Another great show with a good and consistent flow. You can tell there was a lot of effort put into this one as folks are getting established and feuds are really beginning to take shape en route to Clash at the Canyon. Malakai Black vs. Cody Rhodes is gonna be pretty awesome, and I'm really looking forward to participating in Momo vs. Hikari. I can't wait to see what the rest of the card ends up looking like.
It really sucks to deal with no shows, but that's why you build around the people who perform and go above and beyond to keep this thing whole. We've picked up, what... four new faces in the last week or so? They're getting involved, getting booked, and making themselves an invaluable part of the team and that's good to see. If any of you want to chat or work to set up anything for the future, feel free to reach out to me. I'm more than willing to do whatever it takes to help you guys get acclimated and keep this train chugging along.
Onto the matches, it sucks that Rando didn't get an RP up for our match. I didn't put forth max effort because I've been beaten within an inch of my life this cycle, so it would've been a slam dunk win for him. Hopefully he's not done because he's one of the most talented writers I've come across since returning in 2019, but life happens.
Cardona vs. Brady Booker was a lot of fun with the added bonus of becoming an impromptu title match. I really like this whirlwind surrounding Cardona with the X title. It feels like a LOT has happened since he debuted and this all feels like something that would go down with Cardona in real life so I'm enjoying it.
Big win for John Cena and the match got the write-up it deserved.
Britt vs. Konami was a really solid, really close match but only one could win. Big congratulations to Zelda on a hard fought win. Anthony's a hell of an opponent (the first person to beat me in 20+ years), so don't take this victory lightly or squander it going forward, haha.
A shame that Roc couldn't get an RP up for Sasha, but I couldn't imagine the result going any other way with what Zelda posted for Misao. Another big win, though.
Huge win for JD Drake, the Ace of the Wingmen. Dave is doing consistently great work with these guys and it shouldn't go unnoticed. Would've been a killer match, but no shows strike again.
Another no show, but I think MCMG probably would've pulled this one out regardless. Geoff has been solid since coming to WLCW and I've really enjoyed his work with them. I can't wait to see what happens when he inevitably gets that tag title shot.
Big time upset for Dustin with Griff and Julia over the Nightmare Family. Congratulations, man. I know you've been working to create something fun and unique with the Blondes and I think you're finally onto something with them.
Punk vs. Devitt was tough. Neelan has really impressed me since showing up, but Brett is a beast when his schedule allows. Sucks that anyone had to lose this one but if you're gonna lose, Brett's not a bad one to have serve it up. No shame in this one at all. Great match.
All in all, really fun show for a post-PPV. Thanks to everyone for all that you do to keep this thing going.

So, my second go round and I'm trying to get myself acclimated to things after dropping the ball on my first run as Warhorse. Regarding that, I still want to apologize because I know first hand how frustrating no-shows can be when trying to piece together results. Obviously hoping to get back on track with Cogar, but that's a different can of worms. At the very least, on this show, it should be commended for how well the no-shows were handled. Something as simple as Miro coming out and destroying them worked really well, and serves Miro's character perfectly.
The opening Cody Rhodes promo was brilliant and read just like a great Cody promo. Personally not a Cody fan myself, but this promo was incredibly well done and something that I would get behind if I saw it on my screen. From the "hunter" aspect, to the writing around Brandi, to the subtle hints of embezzling money, this shit was spot on.
The Drake Maverick/Booker T shampoo commercial was legit one of the most entertaining things I've read in a long while. Tremendous stuff.
Some really good pieces of match writing here, with some nice spots that capture the characters personalities very well. I'm not sure if it's one person or a team that's handling the majority of the match writing, but kudos to whomever deserves them!
Also, I would like to demand more Clarence Mason, please.

Since Craig is being diplomatic, I'll hit on a few things he probably wants to say.
No-showing sucks. Deadlining sucks.
We all have bad cycles and stuff happens in real life making it unavoidable at times, but the same people doing it again and again gets to a point where it hinders the fed as a whole. You can't book long-term because you can only trust a finite amount of people. Luckily though, Craig has proven to take those people who try hard/have proven to be consistent and full of effort and give them all of the opportunities in the world to succeed here. You can work with writers of any skill as long as they're trying.
Anyway, to the positives:
Thank you for the kind words on the opening segment. I had a lot of fun writing my part of it and look forward to the next couple of shows to progress this story. I think there's a good plan in place that you all will enjoy.
It then alternates to Josh's incredible Booker/Drake segment. Craig front-loaded this show with the goods. This feud is better between Drake/Booker than it would've been involving the women, in my opinion.
Shout out to Roc for piling up the wins with Cena, regardless of the fashion. Jeff's had three solid characters here in WLCW and has hit some struggles.
I love Miro in AEW, so I especially love seeing him run wild in WLCW and being handled by someone like Pylum, who has a good voice for him. This is what you do to scrubs and no-shows, you wipe them out and humiliate them.
I wouldn't know Hikari Noa if she came into my office and sat down in front of me, but this will be a nice PPV match between two good writers.
Dang, Rando. A good writer who no-showed and had his character pinned by the ULTIMATE protagonist.
I hate 2.0 and everything about them. I also hate Keith Lee. So it's fitting that everyone I hate is together now and handled by Brett, who I also hate think is a very fine, upstanding person.
Another no-show. Jesus. Geoff proves consistent with MCMG and the tag team division quickly needs some depth after starting off with a lot of it. Dave needs some competition.
After Roc peaked with Cena, he must've not had anything left for Sasha. Wouldn't have mattered anyway, I don't think.
Tough loss for Anthony with a new character, but the word limit and a good opponent make for a tough combo for introducing a new character.
Nice to see Matt G. get another big win after the surprise X title win on Eruption. A good dude, consistent writer who knows what he's doing and will always be dependable. This is the type of person that you build an efed around.
Glad Dustin got back on the winning track. I really didn't give it my best effort, as selling my story took precedence over a mixed tag with my managers. But maybe one day he and I can have a real match that counts.
You people who multi-color your name bars are savages. I barely can color one name the same color. Respect.
Also good to see the X title get some guys coming at it who show, are talented, and won't require another title change on Eruption to prove a point.
Dave continues to excel with the Wingmen and it wouldn't have mattered if it was a no show or not. I'd love to see a hoss writer pick a team and challenge him. Dave is the most underrated writer in our circle and has been for years.
Have to be honest, these foreign wrestlers speaking fluent English takes away from the comprehension. Maybe try subtitles or broken English in a more realistic way. There's just no way I can buy Nakamura and Danhausen having a normal conversation where they both understand one another. But it's just me. What do I know?
Solid main event here that could've gone either way. Big win for Brett who continues to progress with finding Punk's voice. And Craig was right, Neelan has been stuck in two tough situations right off the bat and is due one. He's much better than his record suggests and that's kind of the downfall of not booking long term, as you can't really position guys into guaranteed wins or better spots because things change so quickly.
A good show coming off the PPV. I wish we had capitalized on the momentum we had coming off Ascension a little better, as half the roster or more was on the forum most of that weekend after results were posted and I really felt like the fed turned a corner. These no-shows are contagious and pile up, making for bad optics, but hopefully WLCW shakes it off and people get more invested. 1500 words requires literally 30 minutes of your day to write.

I agree with everything you said Scott , and I will try to get a better voice to help that immersion with KANA. Though, I will have to correct this specific point just for future notice with Nakamura in particular. He actually speaks pretty fluent English in real life (despite his "Don't Speak Engrish" gimmick in WWE) and understands far more than he can speak. There are more than a few examples of him doing English promos on his Twitter and his personal stories on Instagram. Real Nakamura Promo: Nakamura Promo on TwitterWWE Promo: Nakamura promo on NXTHe does drop a couple of words here and there and I tried hard to convey that, but clearly it wasn't ideal yet which is why I agree with your overall point. That said, I will try and convey more with KANA the limitations in regards to communication and try to fit better with Nakamura to make it clear his role and style able to bridge roughly between the two acts. Hopefully it will get better the more I get used to them.

1500 words requires literally 30 minutes of your day to write. That sounds like a stupidly short amount of time for an RP to be written. Maybe I'm just slow. Then again, maybe that's why you're the champ. I feel like it takes me 3 times that amount of time.

Just a lot of practice from writing segments and efed results in another life. Now, if I have no plan and am sitting there winging it, it takes longer, sure.

First and foremost, another nice product. Great job putting everything together, Craig . Thank you for putting in the effort even when some didn't even post anything. The rest of the roster appreciates it. No shows always hurt, nobody can deny that, but we're already moving past it and welcoming in a lot of new members. I'm excited to see all these new faces. I want them to feel very welcome here and just slide right into what we are building. They've all got a great opportunity to be part of the core foundation. William , Kristin , cxbx , Tyler , Ace , brady I'm sure I missed someone ( RDH + .... love you), I really look forward to these guys & girls contributing to the fed. Except for Ascension, I thought this show had the most well written matches of any show so far. Kudos to any and all that are writing them. I've always been a big fan (to a fault) of longer, descriptive matches. These fall into that category and then some. I love it. Big shoutout to mattg and Brett . I thought they had arguably the two best RPs of the show. Seems fitting that we get to see the two of them fight for the X-Division title. That's two god damn titans in a title match... on a normal show. This fed is just sick. neelan & geoff both posted some quality work, I really enjoyed both of their RPs. Sucks about the no show in the tag match, that was a quality RP geoff posted. mrhacksaw is primed and ready for some title defenses. Another great showing from him this week. He's already in midseason form, so taking the belts from him is not going to be easy. The main event was close, no shame in losing to someone like Brett. I know it's a tough loss, but neelan is going to do good things in this fed. Super disappointed that we got the MIA rando . Sucks. I really enjoyed josh RP. He can take something that he is just goofing off with and turn it into something great. Miro was by far my favorite part of the show. Just the way he was used and maybe even the two pictures used (perfect choices). I think pylum can be one of the main eventers that will carry this fed into the summer. He's got a golden opportunity and I think he's going to run with it. The shampoo commercial was another highlight for me. Just fucking awesome. Scott We will have our time. I can't wait. I did need a win, so I won't complain about the circumstances of it all. You're opening segment was killer and the buildup for the title match at the next PPV w/ Vinny (Too Sweet) is already started off nicely. Can't wait to see the two of you and what you write for that match. Anthony I'm proud of you and your focus towards building angles, telling a story and having fun. Your segments (or input on some of them) has been great. Really glad to see you are sticking with Hayter. She's badass. grandprincess Go get that title, Zelda. You are probably one of if not the most consistent RPer in the fed. Combine that with your quality work and you are a tough out every single match. Sasha Banks .... you no showed. I'm disappointed in you. Be better. Let's all really try to find ways to enhance the story. The social media hub has been a little less active the past week or so and I'm just as guilty as the rest. I think we could all do a better job of communicating with each other and working together on some segments/feuds/angles. I've done a horrible job with this. I'm going to try to do better going forward, so I challenge everyone else to do the same.
