Isn’t Raising Cane’s the place that was started as a college class project where they just opened a place that served 1 thing and 1 thing only? I mean, it’s pretty good nonetheless

Doing the keto thing for medical reasons, which limits my fast food options quite a bit. I mean, who wants to go to Taco Bell and be "that guy" that orders side orders of everything because you can't eat a tortilla? Fortunately more and more places are offering "low carb " options, but there's something about ordering a Big Mac and being served a "hamburger salad" that just feels wrong.
Locally, the best options are Carl's Jr (who will pretty much shove any burger on their menu into what seems like an entire head of lettuce on request) or Five Guys, but Chipotle and In-N-Out Burger really are like the premium for my diet. I can't wait for the one Pylum was talking about to actually open.

Oh, didn't qualify Five Guys as fast food, but if it counts, add them on my list. Love the burgers.

In-N-Out is the king of fast food. Used to only be able to get in when we traveled to California, but there's been some popping up in Oregon the last several years and we will occasionally drive 75 mins one way (that's the closest one presently) to have a double double on the weekends. That being said, there's one that just broke ground in our little town so this pleases me greatly. Lots of other good mentions in this thread, but I'm just glad nobody said Whataburger. I travel to Texas a couple times a year for work and somebody told me they were better than In-N-Out. I've never been so disappointed in my life. Whataburger is complete and utter garbage, the worst of the worst when it comes to fast food. Don't anyone tell me Whataburger is better than In-N-Out, I will literally (in every sense of the word) fight you over that. As someone who's lived in Texas the past 8.5 years (far too long for my liking) and has to deal with the natives telling me how Whataburger is the greatest thing in existence?
YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT AND I JOIN YOU IN THAT FIGHT.
Had it 3 times my first year in Texas since my job had one across the street so made for ideally a quick lunch grab.
Most bland, ass tasting burger I've ever had in my life. Tried it again a few years later? STILL VOMITING INDUCING FILTH.
Meanwhile the Texans tell me In-N-Out is wretched to their palates.
Let's just say I've had to have quite a few "Let's just agree to disagree" conversation choices for sake of no HR complaints lol

I mean, it’s pretty good nonetheless I don't know how it started, but yeah generally just really damn good chicken fingers and "secret sauce". But it works.
They also have killer fountain Cokes and Sweet Tea.

Ok, you've all convinced me to try Culver's. Never even heard about it before this thread and I've no idea where to find one, but I'm interested now. Then again, it seems the Pacific Northwest doesn't have as many options as the rest of the country. I've never heard of the following: Culver's Raisin' Canes Zaxby's Captain D's Donut Connection Freddy's Krystal Bojangles Also also, are Anthony and Grand Princess from the Pacific Northwest? Burgerville is a very Portland thing that I'm surprised anyone outside of the area would know about. I'm originally from Southern California, but I lived in Portland from 2007 to 2011. Still miss some places there. Namely Russell St BBQ (which I recently discovered is closed and I mourn), and Bunk Sandwiches. Oh gods do I miss a Cubano from Bunk.
grandprincess is from the area I believe, probably shouldn't have outed her personal location like that, my bad lol

4 preferences
Taco Bell: Good shit. and Baja Blast is the best soda.
Burger King: Controversial, but if I want trash food Burger King is my go to.
Local Asian food place: I don't entirely like panda express. But the places that are just one small store in a food court slap for some reason.
Chipotle: Real nice. would recommend.
Honorable Mention:
Wendy's: God they are expensive if you aren't getting like the value meal but the food is nice.
