Let's get something straight here real quick.
I enjoy cooking and do the majority of cooking in my household. Kelsie (my significant other) has meals that she excels at like parmesan crusted chicken and she actually puts some extra seasoning on her hamburgers that make them damn near mouth watering. There's a few others as well but those are the ones that stick out...but this isn't about cooking! I just wanted to make a point that I'm not eating fast food every night, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it more often than I should. I live on my grandparents old 100+ acre farm in the middle of Missouri and the closest food joints are 15 mins each way. So sometimes, when we don't feel like cooking, we get out and go get some quick food because the trip isn't that long. So, I gotta know, what are some of your preferences? Who are my humans of fine culture here?
Taco Bell - I used to be really adventurous with their menus and try out different things frequently but have found myself staying with the same order for awhile now. I really love their chili-cheese burritos. I also get their stuff without beans and rice, because to me, those bland flavorless space takers mean less room for cheese and meat. Again, man of culture.
Wendy's - I have recently fell in love with Spicy Asiago Ranch Club chicken sandwich and I haven't looked back.
Arby's - Chicken bacon swiss but their sliders are pretty decent too.
Those are just a couple of the places near me. Obviously, I eat at different ones when given the opportunity. So, I wanna know, what's your guys' vices when it comes to getting some food quick and easy? What do you love?

In N Out - Grew up in SoCal, was a staple. Miss the days when I could have a Double-Double and 1) not feel sick, 2) not gain weight from it. So now I "settle" for a cheeseburger. They also make killer shakes, but now with rising costs, rarely worth the price now.
Raisin' Canes - Their Canes Sauce is addicting and the chicken fingers are usually damn good as well. And even if not, the sauce masks it.
Popeyes - Love that chicken from Popeyes. Also the popcorn shrimp is damn good too
Culver's - A co-worker from Wisconsin tuned me into them. Great burgers and during November they have Sweet Potato Fries. C'est magnifique.
Honorable Mentions:
Burgerville - Oregon's "In N Out". Grand Princess knows what I'm talking about.
El Pollo Loco/El Pollo Rico - Actually two different chains, one in California, one in Texas, but same idea of charbroiled chicken with Mex elements.
Chipotle - Hear me out. Some Chipotles now have a "Chipotlane" where you drive thru pick up your order. Super nice.

Taco Bell - Crunchwrap Supreme and a Steak Quesadilla
McDonald’s - Nuggets
Zaxbys - could also trade Raising Cane’s when I’m in Mississippi. Same difference.
Popeyes - the GOAT of fast food fried chicken

Butter burgers, cheese curds, frozen custard. There's just so much great stuff and the quality is good. We have one near us here in the Carolinas but I swear it's not as good as what they serve in the Midwest.

McDonald's - Big Mac, QuarterPounder/Double QuarterPounder (both with cheese), Nuggets, Fries. Oreo McFlurry
Taco Bell - 12 crunchy/soft tacos.
Little Caesars - I'm preferential to Stuffed Crust Supreme Pizza (substitute black olives for mushrooms) is preferred. Will get premade regular Supreme, Pepperoni, or Cheese. Maybe even bread sticks on occasion
Wendy's - Junior bacon cheeseburgers, Baconator/Baconator Jr., Single, Nuggets, Fries. Sometimes Taco Salad, frosty
Captain D's - Fish, Broccoli, hush puppies, fries, sometimes mac&cheese
KFC - Those chicken mashed potato corn bowls are great. Usual is a good couple breasts of chicken, biscuits, mashed potatoes/gravy, mac&cheese
Arby's - Reuben, cheese potato triangles
Burger King - Rodeo cheeseburgers, Whopper/Double Whopper/Bacon Whopper, Bacon King, fries, onion rings.
(EDIT: Add Subway to this. Tuna sub, cold cut trio sub, making subs into salad option is great. "Eat Fresh.")
Honorable mention: Donut Connection. No meals, only donuts. But, I have to mention it because of Chocolate Chip Donuts. Mmmmm, Donuts.

I can't compare to Midwest but Wisconsin co-worker said they came close to Midwest versions.

I truly do not enjoy any fast food. I'll eat it if I have absolutely nothing at home, but fuck fast food. I feel like absolute shit after eating at any of them.
With that said.. Wendy's or Sonic are the ones I'll go to if I have to.

Fast Food used to be an everyday thing for me, but I've went away from it in the past few years. I've basically tried everything, but here's my short list of go to places.
Culver's - Double butter burger with bacon & cheese. Malts/shakes are amazing, but so damn pricey now. I can buy two tubs of ice cream at the store for the same amount.
Panda Express - USED to be my favorite until they completely changed their menu. Not much of a fan anymore.
Freddy's - Closest place to my house, so used one or twice a month for a quick lunch/dinner.
Arby's - Craig beat me to it, chicken bacon swiss is bomb. Fresh (soft) cherry turnovers for the win. Not those hard ones that resemble something that sat inside a plastic case as a display for 6 years.
I rarely go to McDonald's, Taco Bell, Burger King, Wendy's or Sonic. Had my fair share of meals from those places as a kid/teenager/20's, so nothing on their menu really gives me the desire to go there. McDonald's might as well be a laxative. Look out the next day with Taco Hell. lol.
***** If you don't mind a wait and you are ever in the Kansas City MO/KS area, check out Joe's KC (formerly known as Oklahoma Joe's). It's a BBQ joint that was basically sent down from the heavens. You cannot go wrong with ANYTHING on their menu. The Rocket Pig and The Z-Man (pork/beef combo for me) are my go to sandwiches.

So I used to live in Kansas City for a few years about ten years ago or so (87th and Pflumm, rise up!). Did you know that Kansas City is actually a 'testing area' for Taco Bell and they get new and special menu items months before anywhere else in the country gets them? So the stuff you see on commercials for Taco Bell now was actually already in the Kansas City market months ago and got feedback and everything...I believe it's one of the only cities in the nation that has that honor and it's one of the many things I miss about my time living in Kansas City lol

In-N-Out is the king of fast food. Used to only be able to get in when we traveled to California, but there's been some popping up in Oregon the last several years and we will occasionally drive 75 mins one way (that's the closest one presently) to have a double double on the weekends. That being said, there's one that just broke ground in our little town so this pleases me greatly.
Lots of other good mentions in this thread, but I'm just glad nobody said Whataburger. I travel to Texas a couple times a year for work and somebody told me they were better than In-N-Out. I've never been so disappointed in my life. Whataburger is complete and utter garbage, the worst of the worst when it comes to fast food. Don't anyone tell me Whataburger is better than In-N-Out, I will literally (in every sense of the word) fight you over that.

I'm not super picky when it comes to fast food. I'll hit any of the following:
- McDonald's - Burger King - Krystal - KFC - Taco Bell - Wendy's - Popeyes - Bojangles - Captain D's - Zaxby's - Arby's
But since I'm usually on the road for work if I'm eating it, I'd say I hit McDonald's, Burger King, or Taco Bell more frequently than anything else. Unfortunately, the nearest Krystal to me shut down during COVID, otherwise I'd probably gain a thousand pounds because I'm a monster who thrives on hot garbage.

I got about halfway through the second paragraph before I realized I was reading this in Miro's voice which made the entire thing even more hilarious. Your next RP should be Miro raging after dealing with the crushing disappointment of Whataburger.

Ok, you've all convinced me to try Culver's. Never even heard about it before this thread and I've no idea where to find one, but I'm interested now. Then again, it seems the Pacific Northwest doesn't have as many options as the rest of the country. I've never heard of the following: Culver's Raisin' Canes Zaxby's Captain D's Donut Connection Freddy's Krystal Bojangles
Also also, are Anthony and Grand Princess from the Pacific Northwest? Burgerville is a very Portland thing that I'm surprised anyone outside of the area would know about.

Captain D's is a Long John Silver equivalent.

Raisin’ Canes and Zaxbys are just stores that sell chicken strips with Texas toast and a special dipping sauce. Nothing too extravagant
