IMPORTANT STORY 重要な話
Saturday, February 19th, the date for the Elimination Chamber! Everyone within the World Wrestling Entertainment brass has been ecstatic about the upcoming event. They had pieces in place to hopefully gain back the audience they had lost from the Royal Rumble last month. However, there was one key factor the WWE has overlooked, as reported from Dave Meltzer. "Going into the Elimination Chamber, they somehow just lost track of Nakamura's contract. For anyone who followed the Adam Cole fiasco last year, this is very similar. This is also totally different than what they are doing with Asuka (who's contract runs out this week as well). We will get to her later. My sources are telling me Vince [McMahon] is extremely frustrated at everyone in H.R. and in Management. Nakamura, by all accounts close to him, will honor a last booking with them for SmackDown to drop the Intercontinental Championship, but after, due to the disrespect he probably felt from how they handled his deal, he is expected not to resign to the WWE."
As Meltzer reported, Nakamura is walking out of the WWE due to his contract expiration. What is next for the Legend will be left to see. However, rumors are swirling that he may be on his way to Mick Foley's newest baby since Last Year, WLCW. We know Nakamura wants to prove his value here in America before even considering going back to New Japan and suspect he won't be joining AEW unless it is through the Forbidden Door. Though, this is only speculation. Only time will see what he decides.
