I was a huge mark for The Allied Powers.
I don't understand why.

Ruby Soho. Thought she was underappreciated for a while, but now that she's gotten a real chance, I can see she sucks and wasn't worth the hype. Just kidding. She's the best.
So actually I'd say Triple H. Thought he was the goat in the 2000s. But looking back he's just barely above average.

The Dudley Boyz. Used to love their garbage brawls and they were my first real breakthrough e-fed characters.
Could not pay me to watch Bubba or D-Von from any era now.

I want to say Alexa Bliss right now because I hate the neverending Fiend/Lily stuff but every time I go back and watch any clips before that I'm like "Oh wait, that's why I liked her."
Charlotte and Becky though are also becoming quickly in the running
So I'll say... probably Ryback. I don't know why. I knew he was one trick pony and he was a goof, but the "Feed Me More" shit was fun for a while there and it seemed like they had their Goldberg replacement... oops

Whenever I actually watch anything not his matches against Undertaker at Wrestlemania or those goofy late DX skits where HBK's "senile", I go "How did I think this guy was the best?".
But those WM matches and maybe the Foley match I can watch and see glimpses.
Plus Motorhead theme and Wrestlemania entrances... self-glorifying yet so damn entertaining.

I remember the first night of AEW. Guevara / Cody kicking it all off and I was just blown away by Sammy. I had never seen him before and he just really impressed me that night. He was a guy I just wanted to get behind and watch grow, but as time went on, his character work just kind of fell flat. Regardless of the Impact stuff or the Sasha Banks comments he made, I was just so turned off by his wrestling...and it's not like he was changing or doing anything different. I was just not into it at all. I'd start to hear his music and sigh...I'd get distracted during his matches or do something else while he was on. His ladder match with Cody is about as close as he's come to redeeming himself with me (not that he cares...does he?) Everything about him just seems to lack the charisma I enjoy watching...the cue card bullshit, the generic music...the look...his matches..I don't know. I'm probably in the minority but I'm fine with that here.
