Established in December 2021, World League Championship Wrestling finds themselves as the lone wrestling organization in the world after a group of investors with Stoneworth Investors bought the majority of the world's wrestling corporations. A few stragglers tried to stay active and survive, but ultimately everyone succumb to being bought out in the name of one worldwide wrestling options. The result of the mass buyout was World League Championship Wrestling.

Now looking to amass the greatest wrestling roster the world has ever seen, the Stoneworth Investors put together a management team to handle the day to day and weekly procedures. Striking an exclusive deal with the newly formed WWN (World Wrestling Network) for cable and television rights, the WLCW officially announced two shows that would alternate every other week.
