Once again we join Malakai Black, this time as part of a commercial break in between shows on the World Wrestling Network. It is a black and white shot as Malakai stands in what appears to be a poorly lit forest area. He speaks into the wilderness with no particular focus this time on the camera.
MALAKAI BLACK: I asked. I asked and I received. I made my message clear, I would be fighting this Wednesday on Vengeance and I wanted to see who would step up to the guillotine. And the answer is Warhorse. Now Warhorse, I can not decide what is going on in your mind. Perhaps you have accepted your fate, perhaps you just wanted a moment of infamy in the WLCW no matter how brutal of a price it would be. Maybe you are a maniac with a death wish. When you put your name on the dotted line, what was the immediate emotion that you felt? Was it fear? Anxiety? Dread... maybe that was it. Or maybe you did not feel any of those things. Perhaps you doubt my words or in fact believe I am nothing but words. Maybe you look at me and think I am all talk. And that when we get in the ring and that bell signifies the start of the battle that you will be able to shock the world with an upset. And that behind my words I am more scared of you than you are of me.
Malakai loudly laughs, still refusing to turn to the camera. He continues the loud announcement amongst the trees.
MALAKAI BLACK: You would be wrong. Very wrong, Warhorse. Because my bark may be scary but my bite is so much worse. I am a horse of a different color than you have ever experienced in your life. I am a man who sold it all and now has nothing but an unholy mission before me... take some people down with me. And whether you deserve it or not, you have stepped up as the very first volunteer. You chose this and I honor that. You did not need to accept this battle but you did and what you are going to have to grasp is that choice has consequences. I warned you before, I was not looking for an opponent, I wanted a soul to be my message. And you have volunteered yourself, so I will be the messenger this Wednesday. And I hope the message is very clear to Miro, to Cody, to Foley, to the entire roster. And most especially I hope it is very clear to the snakes.
Malakai finally turns to the camera.
MALAKAI BLACK: I march to the beat of a different drum than you Warhorse. Malakai claps his hands together twice. ClapClap. He does it again. ClapClap. Now at a faster pace. ClapClapClapClapClapClap Can you hear that, Warhorse? I can. It sounds like... hooves. ClapClap Hooves clacking along the ground. ClapClap Is it you, Warhorse? Is that you charging bravely into a battle? ClapClap No. That's not you. I don't even think that's just one horse. ClapClapClapClapClapClap I can hear it... there are four of them. I can see them Warhorse, I can see them so vividly. Look at the beautiful white stallion with a crown atop the horseman's head. It is conquest. And what about that red one? And that man swinging their sword, it's war and his real warhorse. Look at that dark one, that evil one blacker than night. It is famine. And finally, there's the final horse. Pale like the moon in the sky. Pale like a man struck by fear. And riding upon that pale pale horse is the man known as death. I know these men very well. I would not call them my friends but I would say they are work colleagues at the very least. They're here and with an upheaval of society. The end times are here, wrestling as an industry is folding inwards and there's only one company left kicking. Who are we but the cockroaches? We are the insignificant that somehow survived the blast. I stand here not on a mission to eradicate our final home but with the idea to cleanse this newly sacred ground. We have begun again and we will do better, something amazing. But not if we fall for the same lies and the same deceivers that took us astray previously. This is the dawn of a new day and it is going to be beautiful. My deepest regret is that Warhorse, unfortunately you will not be allowed to see that glory. But know that you did something special this Wednesday, you sacrificed for us all.
Malakai turns away from the camera and starts walking into the woods as the shot fades and the commercials resume.
