This was a question of the day I saw online and thought it could make good discussion here. The original question was "top ten," but a lot of hairs started getting split at the end.
Top Five Wrestlers in TV/Film roles:
1.) The Rock - dude's in literally everything and was the first guy in the new era to make the jump. His early movies were fine but now he's the biggest star in the world.
2.) Batista - Made a gazillion dollars in Marvel movies. Good for a man who walks for miles inside a pit of danger.
3.) Roddy Piper - Almost made him #1 because They Live and Hell Comes to Frogtown are just the best/worst movies ever.
4.) Terry Funk - Roadhouse, Over the Top, enough said. Handpicked by Stallone for Over the Top, tried fighting the stunt doubles who mocked wrestling.
5.) Hulk Hogan - where would we be without Thunder in Paradise, right?
Honorable Mentions - Jesse Ventura, Andre the Giant, Randy Savage (Bonesaw is ready.)

1. The Rock, inarguable.
2. Roddy Piper - Placing Piper here because They Live and Hell Comes to Frogtown wouldn't have been the same without him, whereas Drax could have conceivably been played by someone else and Marvel wouldn't have lost a single cent. Not that he wasn't wonderful in that role, which brings me to:
3. Dave Batista - Guardians of the Galaxy is obviously his bread and butter, but he's had other fun roles in Stuber and My Spy, as well as his bit parts in Hotel Artemis and Blade Runner 2049. He was also the only actor worth a damn in Zack Snyder's god awful Army of the Dead.
4. Andre the Giant - Princess Bride is iconic.
5. Jesse Ventura - He's most remembered for Predator, but I'm acknowledging him for Running Man.
I wrestled with not putting Hulk Hogan on here, but opted out since there's a chance I'll actually watch some of the movies listed above again in my lifetime, whereas Hogan never made anything I have the desire to watch. Maybe Suburban Commando one day when I find it for free on some streaming service. We'll see.

1. The Rock - Enough said.
2. Andre - Princess Bride, enough said.
3. Jesse Ventura - Fucking love Running Man
4. Captain Lou Albano - Come on, how can you NOT love him in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show Cartoon?
5. JOOOOOHNNNNN CEEEEENNNNAAAA... okay not really, uhm... Hogan. Because I'll not watch Thunder in Paradise, No Holds Barred or Suburban Commando again... but I will watch Rocky III at some point again inevitably.
Honorable Mentions:
I'll throw Macho Man since I had no interest in Spiderman movies but anything Macho is OOOH YEEEAAAH!
Does Zeus count as a wrestler first or actor first? Either way.... DEEBO!!!

1. Rock - Speaks for itself 2. Batista - Becoming a decent actor, killed it as Drax 3. John Cena - Has anyone here seen Peacemaker? I think John Cena perfectly fits here after that performance. 4. Andre - Princess Bride is an all time classic 5. Goldberg - He's great as Coach Mellor's brother on The Goldbergs!

Also Arquette goes back to my question about Zeus. Is he a wrestler that acted, or an actor that wrestled?
