When you first stumbled into this ridiculous hobby, who was the first character you ever joined a fed with? What made you pick them?
The first e-fed I ever joined was the PWA-WWF in 1999 as The Blue Meanie and Stevie Richards. I picked them because no one better was open that I was familiar with and those two jabronis had been showing up on Sunday Night Heat, so it seemed logical. I was shockingly bad, like zero hope bad. Maybe a week or two later, the Dudley Boyz opened up and I jumped on them and the rest is history.

Triple H or Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Can't remember which came first. Just remember it was in this e-fed in 1999 ran by a "John Cena". Which is crazy since John Cena didn't start his career at UPW's wrestling school til that year. I like to joke "had to be the real John Cena" but sure was just someone who happened to be a local fan to UPW or I think it had a Discovery Channel show and maybe he was on that.

I first joined as Doink because Josh made start efedding. He was the Repo Man and I just KNEW it was going to lead to us teaming.
It didn’t. I was awful (probably still am, am I right? Lololol)
Changed to Edge and Christian a few weeks later and the rest is history for me

When I found my way back to the efeds and ewa back in like 2014 or so...it was Cody Rhodes. Right after his un-dashing phase. I had just got back into the professional wrestling as a whole. Cody was just someone far enough off the radar for me to really throw myself into and he was my guy. When I got to EWA, I did this thing where he was a rejected movie star and this whole thing where he thought he was a huge deal and wasn't - at all. I had no idea how efeds worked on my return. I was just writing whatever I wanted with whoever I wanted in my segments and RPs. Someone had to pull me aside and be like "you can't just use other people's characters in your RPs." Now it seems so imple, but back then I was just like "why not?" I ran a whole story arc with fledgling movie star Cody Rhodes. I made up a Justice League movie (before it became an actual thing) and had Cody be Flash. I had him appear in Walking Dead when it was one of the biggest shows on the planet. It was all just...dumb. Like, I can look back now and say it was dumb because it was lol. I rotated the Cody character away from all of that, mostly after Dusty passed away and was able to salvage a fun and decent character, but I have no idea how I survived that early on embarrassment and being a shameful citizen.

I actually got my start with CAWs.. but the first real wrestler I can remember writing was Pirate Paul Burchill maybe around 2015 or 16? A very dumb choice that didn't last long. He and Shinsuke Nakamura are the only male wrestlers I've ever written.

It was late 1999 (early 2000). I started a wrestling fed called MAD Wrestling Fed. I was the owner and handled 'Macho Man' Randy Savage. My sister made all of the roster pics as south park caricatures. She did some amazing work. It was ridiculous and only lasted a few months, but a few of the people (Emerson, Joey, Jerry) that were in MAD told me about Solid Gold Wrestling.

I don't know if it was MAD Wrestling, could have been, but I specifically remember a fed using the South Park caricatures from Kenny's Crib as roster pics. Being reminded of Kenny's Crib just messed me up.

I was one of those that started out in CAW-only feds, so he wasn't my first character, but my first "real" wrestler was The Sandman in a weird ECW revival fed one of the guys running one of the other feds I was in started for the lulz. I...didn't take it seriously. At all. Basically all I did was make offensive jokes and hit people with kendo sticks. It was bad, edgy teenage garbage that lasted maybe a month or two.
That was the only time I played a real wrestler until a few years back, when I returned to e-fedding with Brent Albright, who was chosen because his last name started with an A and barely anyone remembered him at the time.

Oddly enough, Taz.
I fantasy booked shows in Youtube comments with a couple of other guys for a year and when that ended I was left with an itch to continue wrestling writing online with others. Then I found one efed and the rest is history.
Why did I choose Taz then? I don't know. I loved the idea if ECW as a kid even though I lacked the internet savvy to ever watch any real ECW shows. It was around One Night Stand era, Taz had just choked out Jerry Lawler. I popped. Fast forward to now and I'm Taz again but I digress.

I feel so called out right now. Alright SGW people, which one of you took my e-fed history from 1999-2001 and is mocking me?
If this is legit, I take high offense at "bad, edgy teenage garbage".
Mine was atrociously bad and hilarious edgy teenage garbage that was a masterful art of pseudo-porn and shock wrestling thank you.
(Really I'm sure it's pure coincidence, but it made me laugh. )

I do not remember my first, but my first memorable run was with Booker T / Stevie Ray as Harlem Heat. I went both tag and singles with them... no idea if I was any good or not though haha.

Ok, let me try and set this up. I'm pretty sure my first character was a CAW, though I can't remember exactly. However, my first "real" wrestler was myself. I used my real name and personality with a CAW e-fed I did in the early 2000's, then years later I actually ended up doing some real matches under my real name. Kind of a weird fantasy becomes reality thing.
