It's kinda interesting to see the same name pop up so often for so many people. Makes me sad that my handful of matches against Brett can't really be remembered as anything special, usually due either to bad timing or me burning myself out and not being there to make anything actually come of them. Ah well...
I've got a few names that do come to mind, though, considering how long I've been doing this off-and-on, as far as rivals and favorite opponents go. There's one from my early-ish days, the "MSN Groups"/CAW fed times, never knew his real name but he played a character named Seifer (yes, I'm sure he was named after the video game character). Dude was the unstoppable champion of the fed, had beaten everyone else in the place, and I was the dumb relative newbie that proceeded to spend a week writing what might as well have been the bones of a novel to knock him off and take the title...which I lost in my first defense, having spent far too much time and energy in getting there. But he was the first opponent I'd had that showed me I could put that much into a character, so I'll remember the guy for that one always.
Jumping now to more recent times (well, relatively more recent, anyway, though we're still talking a good few years ago now), I think of my time in EWA and there are quite a few people I enjoyed working with/against, but there's really only one I could call anything close to fitting the rivalry part of this (and as I'm writing this, I'm realizing that 1, it's gonna sound like I'm kissing ass and 2, considering the amount of crap I've given him, I'm not sure it fits my image to be seen praising him): Craig. We never really got the chance to have anything epic as far as a grand storyline or anything, but no one else was responsible for more of the most fun moments (other than possibly Avi) or the biggest moments of my "career". I can't count the amount of times he helped set me up for something bigger...or the amount of times he beat me for titles or spots in a tournament. He's also my second-favorite tag partner ever (but only because Brian knows where I live and could kick my ass), so there's that...
