To contrast, the last main event I saw live was Kellie Skater & Tomoka Nakagawa vs. Portia Perez & Nicole Matthews.

Last main event I saw was Adam Cole defending the NXT title against Tommaso Ciampa at NXT Takeover Portland on Feb 16 2020. That show got me excited for wrestling the rest of the year. Little did I know...

It was a Monday Night RAW and it was 1996 so I was 9. I remember two matches and can't remember which was the main event. HBK Vs. Goldust for the WWF Championship or Undertaker Vs. Mankind.

Over the Edge 2000 in Hartford, CT.
Main event was HHH X Cactus Jack in a Hell in a Cell match which was insane.

All these people listing their first main events as WWF/E shows, pfft. Mine was a charity show at a local high school gym run by Portland Wrestling, main event was Josh Wilcox and "Bruiser" Brian Cox vs Matt Borne and Bart Sawyer (guessing no one here will know 3 of those 4 names, hopefully someone surprises me).
Last main event was the same as Brian's. Still my favorite show I've ever seen. Makes me sad for the "death" of NXT.

I know I listed a WCW event as my first, but there was one other before it that I have the vaguest memory of. I remember absolutely nothing about it except that one guy had black tights with a design that I equate to looking like a slice of watermelon, and there was a fat guy in a mask. This would have been in the mid-late 80s in podunk Collinwood, TN. I don't count it because I don't remember it and can't name anyone who was there (if anyone notable at all). And I'm familiar with Borne (obviously) and Smart Bart Sawyer, haha.

You just shook some memories loose of a Portland Wrestling show I went to as a kid at the National Guard armory.
